The victim of a knifepoint robbery attempt asked the raider one question — “If it had been a man behind the counter would you have robbed him?” 

That was the question raised in a victim impact statement as Richard Horgan was jailed for two-and-a-half years for this attempted robbery and another one on the same morning.
