Two Cork men found with slam-bang shotgun in stolen car jailed

The driver and a passenger in the stolen car were given jail terms of six years and seven-and-a-half years respectively.

A homemade slam-bang shotgun wrapped in clingfilm was found in the back of a stolen car with false number plates and on Friday the driver and a passenger in that car were given jail terms of six years and seven-and-a-half years respectively.

Judge Dermot Sheehan jailed the driver 24-year-old Aaron Long of 62 Killala Gardens, Knocknaheeny, Cork, for six years for this and other crimes.
