Gardaí are investigating a number of lines of inquiry into the fatal assault of a father outside his home in north Dublin shortly after midnight on Tuesday.

The victim, Anthony Fowler, known locally as Josh Fowler, suffered injuries from a weapon when he was confronted by a number of men outside his door on Dunsink Green in Finglas.
