A Newmarket motorist pleaded guilty on Monday to dangerous driving and failing to remain at the scene of an incident in Kanturk where a woman needed medical assistance.

Conan Walsh, 27, of Meengorman, Meelin, Newmarket, Co Cork, was arraigned at Cork Circuit Criminal Court on Monday, and he pleaded guilty to various offences arising out of an incident on the night/early morning of October 31/ November 1 2021.
