Second man to face Central Criminal Court trial for murder of Kieran Quilligan

A second man was sent forward for trial by judge and jury on Wednesday on a charge of murdering 47-year-old Kieran Quilligan, whose remains were found following an extensive search in East Cork.

32-year-old Niall Long — formerly of 35 St. Michael’s Close, Mahon, Cork — was served with a book of evidence on Wednesday at Cork District Court.
