A Cork man called a sergeant a "prick and a langer" before threatening to “dance the flesh off” gardaí but he blamed his troubles that lunchtime on his “gallantry” in standing up for a woman who was refused entry to TK Maxx.
Donal Daly, solicitor, said Terrence McDonagh’s difficulties that day all began with his gallant decision to stand by the woman who was not welcome at the Cornmarket Street store.
