Cigarettes worth over €7m seized in Co Meath

Cigarettes worth over €7m have been seized by Revenue officers in Co Meath.
Some 8m illegal cigarettes, branded 'MAC', were discovered on Tuesday as a result of risk profiling.
They have an estimated value of €7,215,000, and represent a potential loss to the exchequer of €5,706,000.
Investigations are ongoing.
The seizure is part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting the sale and supply of illegal cigarettes and tobacco.
