A burglar who got away with €20,000 in cash from an apartment in Cork was seen on CCTV carrying a pint glass of stout into the complex and this was left behind on the kitchen table of the burgled home.

This was the allegation made against 52-year-old Martin Hurley, of no fixed address, at Cork District Court by Detective Garda Conor Cronin.
