Man who smashed window of Cork flower shop causing €500 worth of damage is jailed

Judge said it was very difficult for a shop owner to have to face this situation, with the mess that has to be cleaned up and the loss for which there is no compensation

Accused was identified smashing the window of Cork Flower Studio, court told.

The front window of a flower studio was smashed and when gardaí apprehended the man responsible for causing the €500 worth of damage, he could offer no explanation for his actions.

Sergeant Dave Delea outlined the background to the criminal damage caused by 34-year-old Daniel Jackson, of Cork Simon Community.
