Case adjourned against Cork man accused of 'savage assault' that left bus passenger unconscious

The case relates to an incident shortly before 4pm on October 2 on the upstairs of the 208 bus, where the 41-year-old man was seriously injured following an argument between two parties.

The case against a man accused of knocking a 41-year-old bus passenger unconscious and kicking him in the head when defenceless on the floor of the bus was adjourned on Friday for DPP directions.

The case arises out of an investigation into an incident on the upper deck of a Bus Éireann bus at Ballyhooley Road in Cork city earlier this month.
