The case against a Welsh farmer accused of assaulting another man at Rearden’s in Cork City in the course of a visiting stag weekend was further adjourned until October 23.

The adjournment was to allow for the judge at Cork District Court to decide on whether the case should be dealt with at district or circuit court level.
