Cork man jailed and banned from driving for eight years

The driver was given a sentence of five months concurrent for hit and run where he left the scene of a collision with another vehicle.

A motorist with “zero respect for court orders” was jailed for five months for his latest offence of driving without insurance.

John Forde, aged 40, of 18 Park Lawn, Parklands, Commons Road, Cork, was sentenced by Judge Treasa Kelly at Cork District Court who commented on the defendant’s attitude to courts.
