A man appeared in Cork District Court on Monday charged with causing almost €1,000 worth of criminal damage to two Rib boats belonging to Cork Missing Persons Search and Recovery.

Judge Treasa Kelly accepted jurisdiction to deal with the case when Sergeant Gearóid Davis outlined the background to the allegations.
