Man charged with raping woman in County Cork hotel

The 38-year-old was charged with raping and sexually assaulting a young woman on December 11, 2022

The court was told that when the defendant was arrested, charged, and cautioned he made no reply to any of the charges.

A 38-year-old man was arrested on Friday and charged with raping a woman in a bedroom of a hotel in County Cork almost two years ago.

Detective Garda Don McCarthy arrested the man at Cork District Court for the purpose of charging him.
