Cork woman stole designer handbag worth €1,500 from staff area of Italian restaurant

Accused was identified on CCTV entering Bella Napoli on Academy Street and going into a staff-only area and stealing the handbag

Accused was jailed for seven months.

A €1,500 designer handbag was stolen from the staff quarters of an Italian restaurant and now the Cork woman who snatched it has been jailed for seven months.

Margaret Foley, of Grenville Court, Grenville Place, Cork, was arrested by Garda Cian Hennessy and charged with burglary on March 19.
