Corkman charged with sexual assault of woman while armed with replica pistol

A 41-year-old Cork man was arrested today and charged with carrying out an aggravated sexual assault on a woman at a flat in Cork city while armed with a replica pistol.

Detective Garda Padraig Harrington gave evidence of arresting the man before Cork District Court today and charging him with three counts arising out of the alleged offence.
