Revenue officers at Dublin Airport seized approximately 18.6kg of herbal cannabis valued at €373,000 on Friday, August 23, 2024.

The drugs were found hidden in vacuum-sealed packages within the baggage of a passenger who had arrived from Thailand.

A man in his 30s was arrested in connection with the discovery and has since been charged, appearing before the courts earlier today.

The seizure is part of Revenue's ongoing efforts to combat organised crime and the illegal drug trade.
