Arrested men released after cocaine worth €7.2m seized at Rosslare port

Two men who were arrested on Friday after cocaine worth €7.2m was seized in Co Wexford, have been released without charge.
The men, aged in their 40s and 50s, were arrested as part of an operation in which approximately 104kg of cocaine was discovered at Rosslare Europort.
Both men were released from custody without charge, and a file will now be prepared for the DPP.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
In a separate operation, Revenue officers assisted by gardaí seized cannabis with an estimated value of over €16m at the port on Saturday.
The suspected drugs, made up of 783kgs of herbal cannabis and 70kgs of cannabis resin, were discovered following the search of an unaccompanied freight unit which had disembarked a ferry.
