The man was charged with assaulting the woman at Washington Street Courthouse on April 3, 2023.

The man who threatened a social worker with the words “I’m going to end your life” had the case against him adjourned until September 26 as his solicitor said on Wednesday that the probation report was positive in terms of the defendant’s engagement with the service.

Judge Mary Dorgan adjourned the case saying that she would need time to read the report and consider the matter which was not possible when there was such a huge list of cases before Cork District Court.
