Two men arrested in connection with garda investigations into the discharge of a firearms and an assault in Louth have been released without charge.
The incident happened at a residential location near Dundalk, at roughly 8.30 pm on Friday night.
Three men - two aged in their 20s and one aged in his 50s - were injured during the course of the incident.
The two men in their 20s were taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda for treatment. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening at this time.
In an update on Monday morning, gardaí said two men, aged in their twenties, have been released without charge.
"Investigations are ongoing and files will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP)," a garda spokesperson added.
