Cork woman accused of stealing charity boxes and other thefts granted bail

Woman is also accused of stealing five bottles of whiskey at Lidl on Cornmarket Street, three electric toothbrushes (valued €366) at Dunnes Stores on Merchants Quay, and taking the tip jar from the counter at Nectar café on Parnell Place
Cork woman accused of stealing charity boxes and other thefts granted bail

It is alleged accused stole a charity box containing €550 from the accident and emergency unit of Mercy University Hospital, and a charity box for the Sick and Poor Society at Sexton’s shop on Old Blackrock Road, containing €40.

A Coachford-based woman accused of carrying out the theft of charity collection boxes and stealing other property mainly in Cork City was remanded on bail for a fortnight.

Emma O’Mahony of The Cabins, Coachford, Co Cork, was granted bail by Judge Mary Dorgan at Cork District Court.
