Man accused of burgling gym in city centre promises to stay out of Cork while on bail

The defendant said: 'Any time I come to Cork it will be for court and I will bring my wife with me.'

A burglary at a gym in Cork City centre resulted in gardaí arresting a man and objecting to bail being granted to him.

Applying for bail, the accused said he would stay out of Cork City except for court appearances and only come to Cork when his wife was with him.
