Millstreet man admits harassment in alleged work dispute

A Millstreet man confessed on Monday to a charge of harassing another man in Cork arising out of an alleged employment dispute.

39-year-old David Sheehan of Station Road, Millstreet, County Cork, was arraigned at Cork Circuit Criminal Court where he pleaded guilty to the single count on the indictment on Monday. 

The charge referred to harassment of another man on November 5, 2023.

Prosecution barrister Mary O’Dwyer said there was no objection to bail on condition that the accused man would have no further contact with the injured party. Judge Helen Boyle said she would adjourn sentencing until November 8.

The judge directed the preparation of a victim impact statement in advance of sentencing.
