Off-duty Cork prison officer threatened by man armed with Stanley knife
Judge Mary Dorgan said she would not accept jurisdiction to deal with the case at district court level because of the seriousness of the allegation.
An off-duty prison officer was threatened by a man armed with a Stanley knife that he would be sliced up in Cork city centre and now the person accused of making this death threat has signed a plea of guilty.
Dean Cremin, aged 31, signed the plea of guilty at Cork District Court and now Judge Mary Dorgan has sent the case forward for sentencing at the sessions of Cork Circuit Criminal Court commencing on May 29.
