Ireland has taken part in a massive international police operation tasked with examining more than 68 million media files in a bid to identify victims and perpetrators of child sexual abuse.

The colossal undertaking took place over two weeks and has already resulted in four children being identified and safeguarded by authorities in the respective countries.
