A Cork man accused of putting his mother in fear by shouting through the window of her home demanding money to buy drugs eventually smashed a window of the house, it was alleged as he was remanded in custody on Monday.

These were the allegations made by Garda Kian O’Sullivan at an in-camera hearing of Cork District Court, where there was an objection to bail being granted to him.
