Man spat at Cork city patrol car after verbally abusing garda 

The man approached the garda car, verbally abused the garda inside, and then spat at the vehicle.

 A garda sitting in a patrol car at Coburg Street in Cork was approached by a man who asked him for money, verbally abused him, and then spat at the vehicle.

Anderson Fernandes, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to being threatening and abusive on the occasion. He appeared at Cork District Court where he was represented by solicitor Frank Buttimer.
