Corkman ordered to have no contact with partner had called her a 'rat' from passing car

The 28-year-old man accused of breaching the order has now pleaded guilty to the offence at an in-camera hearing of Cork District Court where the parties cannot be identified.

 A Cork man who was required by an order granted under the Domestic Violence Act to have no contact of any kind with his partner shouted at her from a passing car — “You fucking rat. You watch.”
