Teen caught speeding at 183km/h was driving 'as if he was playing a video game', says judge

Mark Earle, 19, was disqualified from driving for two years and fined €100 with two months to pay

Inspector Tony O’Sullivan told Fermoy District Court that Mark Earle, 19, of Luí Na Gréine, Ballinwillin, Mitchelstown, Co Cork was caught speeding on the M8 motorway in July 2023.

A then 18-year-old caught speeding at 183km/h was driving “as if he was playing a video game”, according to a judge.
