The High Court has been urged to dismiss a woman's claim over serious injuries she says she received while playing rugby with her local club some seven years ago.

Carmel Creaven is suing the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU), Tuam Rugby Football Club in Galway, and a number of trustees and officers of Tuam RFC for negligence and breach of duty arising out of the injury which occurred when she was in a line-out collision during a game on January 8, 2017.
