One teenage victim received a text from a family in Mayfield — known to be associated with the accused — effectively threatening her, saying they know where she lives.

A 15-year-old accused of knife attacks on three other teenagers and punching a 14-year-old girl in the head was refused bail because of concerns for public safety.

Sergeant Gearóid Davis said: “There has to be some level of protection for members of the public where it is alleged these were completely unprovoked attacks.”
