Man jailed for sexual offences against two young neighbours

A Wicklow man who carried out various sexual offences on two young girls who were his neighbours, including getting one of them to replicate scenes from a porn film with her brother, has been jailed for five and a half years.

A sitting of Wicklow Circuit Criminal Court heard Darren Hanlon of Beechwood, Laragh, Co Wicklow had been convicted of sexually assaulting his young neighbour, Kerri Anne Murphy, following a three-day trial last November.
