Man charged with raping woman and threatening her with scissors at Kerry home

The accused was arrested on March 14 in Tralee on suspicion of rape. He was charged at 6am on Saturday and later appeared at Mallow District Court

A 32-year-old man of no fixed abode has appeared before a special sitting of Mallow District Court in connection with an alleged attack on a woman in Tralee on Thursday.

The man is accused of five charges, including two counts of rape.
