Detector dog Milo strikes again as 1.4 tonnes of tobacco and 758,000 cigarettes seized in Dublin

Officials believe the plant had the capacity to produce 250,000 cigarettes

Customs officers and gardaí say they seized 1.4 tonnes of raw tobacco and 758,000 cigarettes from an 'illicit commercial cigarette factory' in Dublin. 

As part of an intelligence-led operation, and with the assistance of detector dog Milo, Revenue officers executed the search under warrant of a premises in Dublin 11 yesterday.
