A teenager has said his childhood was “taken away” because of the repeated rape and sexual abuse he suffered over four years at the hands of his mother’s then partner.

The now 18-year-old told the Central Criminal Court he was serving a “life sentence” and battled feelings of rage, anger, and shame.
