An off-duty prison officer was threatened by a man allegedly armed with a Stanley knife that he would be sliced up in Cork city centre.
These were the allegations made at Cork District Court, where the Director of Public Prosecutions directed the death threat charge could be dealt with at district court level on a plea of guilty only.Â
