Children at the scene of a domestic disturbance after midnight at a house in Cork were visibly upset when gardaí arrived to investigate.

Judge Mary Dorgan said she recalled the vivid evidence given by Garda Margaret Kelleher when gardaí objected to bail when the 38-year-old accused man was arrested and brought before the court earlier this month.
