Children at the scene of a domestic disturbance after midnight at a house in Cork were visibly upset when gardaĂ­ arrived to investigate.

Judge Mary Dorgan said she recalled the vivid evidence given by Garda Margaret Kelleher when gardaĂ­ objected to bail when the 38-year-old accused man was arrested and brought before the court earlier this month.
