A 67-year-old woman was petrified when she was knocked over while walking her cockapoo by two unmuzzled rottweilers who got away from their owner.

“For some time I was petrified this would happen again. They tried to get at my dog, I was absolutely petrified,” the woman said in a victim impact statement read out by Judge Mary Dorgan at Cork District Court.
