Judge said garda suffered severe injuries to both his arms as well as a number of other minor injuries to his body.

A motorcycle garda who was hit by a car and suffered serious arm injuries has been awarded more than €90,000 by the High Court.

Garda Dean Keogh, a married father of one who has been attached to the traffic unit for 15 years, was hit by a car driven by Maria Byrne, Dargle Road, Drumcondra, Dublin, on September 18, 2021, at the junction of Drumcondra Road/Dargle Road.
