Man charged in relation to death of Angela Canavan 

A man, aged in his 30s, was arrested and charged by gardaí on Monday in relation to the investigation. 

A man has been charged in relation to the fatal assault of Angela Canavan who was found in her home in Sligo town in May last year. 

The body of Ms Canavan, aged in her 50s, was found shortly after 8:30pm on May 1, 2023.
