A guilty plea was indicated on Monday, January 8, by a 34-year-old man accused of burgling three apartments in a complex in Cork where he left a note in one woman’s home with his name and phone number and two unopened condoms.

Szymon Kaczorowski of Farran, Ovens, County Cork, said through Frank Buttimer, solicitor, at Cork District Court: “He will be entering a plea whether these charges are being dealt with summarily or by indictment.” Mr Buttimer said that such an indication may be of assistance to An Garda Síochána and the Director of Public Prosecutions in terms of advancing the question of directions on whether the case will be dealt with at district or circuit court level.
