A third male has been arrested in relation to the murder of a man at a Dublin restaurant on Christmas Eve.
Tristan Sherry died after being assaulted during an incident at Browne's Steakhouse on Main Street in Blanchardstown at around 8pm on December 24. A man in his 40s was also shot during the incident.
The arrested man is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda Station in West Dublin. He is the third person to be arrested as part of the garda investigation into the incident.
A second man, arrested earlier this week, remains in garda custody.
Last week, Michael Andercut, 22, with an address in Sheephill Avenue, Corduff, was charged with murder during a special sitting of the Criminal Courts of Justice.
A garda spokesperson said investigations are ongoing.
