'There is a very peculiar aspect to one of these charges in so far as it is alleged he left — shall we say — his calling card and other items in the room,' judge said. Picture: David Parry/newscast

A man accused of burgling three apartments in a complex in Cork allegedly left a note with his name and phone number and two unopened condoms in one young woman’s home.

This evidence was given by Garda Páraic O’Connor, who objected to bail being granted to the accused man, Szymon Kaczorowski, of Farran, Ovens, Co Cork, who was represented by Frank Buttimer, solicitor, at Cork District Court.
