All-Ireland winning Limerick hurler Kyle Hayes denies attacking man at nightclub

Five-time All-Ireland winning Limerick hurler Kyle Hayes told gardaí after his arrest on suspicion of assaulting a man outside a nightclub, that he did not carry out the attack.

The All Star hurler did, however, admit during Garda interviews that he “ran away” from the scene of the alleged assault, his trial heard on Wednesday.
