A man has been arrested in connection with defrauding 15 victims out of more than €275,000 collectively, in a case of romance fraud.

The man, aged in his 40s, was arrested yesterday in the west Dublin area as part of an ongoing Garda investigation into the laundering of the proceeds of romance fraud.
