The total value of the drugs found was €19,000 but the batch in the garage was not of usable quality, the court heard.

A Tipperary man living in north Cork was caught growing and dealing cannabis but his lawyer described the accused as “his own best customer".

Dean Brady pleaded guilty to a charge of having cannabis for sale or supply on October 9, 2021. Judge Colin Daly imposed a €2,000 fine and a two-year suspended sentence on him.
