A crack addict who was desperate for cash to buy drugs produced a Stanley knife during an off-licence robbery and repeatedly told the woman behind the counter: "Sorry, sorry, sorry", during the crime.

Now he has been jailed for two-and-a-half years at Cork Circuit Criminal Court.
