A man attempted to rob two Cork businesses with “a large chef’s knife” in a bid to clear a cocaine debt after he fell into addiction during the covid pandemic.
Brandishing “a large chef’s knife”, Donal Murphy attempted to steal from Nino & Tino takeaway on Georges Quay and Costcutter on Grand Parade.
