Corkman charged with burgling restaurant after 'Find my Apple' app tracked him down

The Apple iPad had the 'Find my Apple' app and when this was accessed by the injured party it returned a location and the gardaĂ were notified of the particular address, court told.

A “Find my Apple" app was used to track down a man accused of burgling an Italian restaurant in Cork City.

That was the allegation made at Cork District Court where there was a State objection to bail being granted to 36-year-old Donal O’Sullivan, of an apartment at 18 Fairhill, Cork.
