Cork man accused of selling heroin and cocaine

The 31-year-old man from Cork is charged with having cocaine for sale or supply at Anderson’s Quay, Cork.

The Director of Public Prosecutions decided that charges arising out of two alleged drug-dealing cases should be dealt with at trial by judge and jury or by a signed plea of guilty.

The case against a 31-year-old man from Banduff was to be struck out today if no directions were forthcoming from the Director of Public Prosecutions. Sergeant John Kelleher confirmed that the DPP directions had come. Defence solicitor Frank Buttimer asked for a one-week adjournment so that the defence could now consider what position to take in relation to the charges.
